It all started when…

I was chosen to present a BBC Stories Documentary, The Truth Behind My Fried Chicken. As soon as I got in front of the camera I realised that this is what I wanted to do!

Upon release, the film quickly rose to the front page of BBC News, BBC iPlayer and Apple News US. I got involved in more work with companies such as 4Music and TasteMade. I knew I had a place in this industry. I knew I had to take the risk and jump.

I realised I had all the elements needed to make a business. I had already been flown over to New York for a wedding, I had been the photographer for dozens of birthday parties and many club nights. I had already uploaded hundreds of YouTube videos, some for companies, some for myself. I had the skills to compose, direct, present, edit and produce high quality videos. Why not start up a company? I thought. So I quit most of my other work and hobbies in order to begin the next stage of my life.

Some people are leaders and others are followers. It took me 24 years to reaIise I was never meant to work for other people. The world had always been telling me that. As director of HezyTek Productions, I feel right at home. Calling the shots as the captain of the team - this is my place to be.
